What is an Eagle Scout?
An Eagel Scout is the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouting program called the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). In order for a scout to obtain this rank they have to earn a total of 13 Eagle required merit badges, be in a leadership position in the troop for at least 6 months, complete an Eagle Scout service project and have an Eagle Scout board of review.
About
My project will benefit Clark Park. Clark Park is a State Park in Fayetteville, NC. I will be building four campfire benches and one outdoor turtle enclosure. This will help Clark Park seat people people for their campfires that they hold. The old turtle enclosure is rotted out and old. My new enclosure will give the turtles at Clark Park a better place to live.
Project
For my Eagle Scout project I will be constructing
~ 4 campfire benches
~ 1 outdoor turtle enclosure
The benches and turtle enclosure will be constructed off-site.
They will both then be stained then installed at Clark Park.
Troop Info.
I am a life scout with
Troop 787 in Fayetteville, NC.
With the help of my troop I hope to complete my project
by June 2015.
